Justino is a DMV based theatre artist with a deep passion for classic texts, heightened language, and connecting people through performance. He was last seen in the Washington Stage Guild’s production of “Major Barbara.”

First treading the boards in high school, Justino then studied for a year at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. Afterwards, he returned to his hometown of Albuquerque, where he earned his BA in Theatre at the University of New Mexico. Highlights of his time at UNM include working directly with the playwrights Len Jenkin and Mac Wellman, directing a production of Christopher Marlowe's "Dr. Faustus", and twice performing at the ATEC Festival at Beijing's Central Academy of Drama.

While in Albuquerque, Justino also performed with several local companies, including the Vortex, the Aux Dog, Tricklock Theatre Company and Mother Road.

In May 2018, he received his MFA in Acting from Indiana University, where he was also an Associate Instructor. His final semester at IU included performances as Cassius in “Julius Caesar,” under the direction of Jenny McKnight, and as the Poet in Denis O'Hare & Lisa Peterson's one-man play "An Iliad", directed by Ansley Valentine.

His affinity for Elizabethan and Jacobean theatre is boundless, and he hopes to act in as many plays by Shakespeare and his contemporaries as possible. Other playwrights whose work he greatly admires include Martin McDonagh, Stephen Adly Guirgis, Annie Baker, Bill Cain, Theresa Rebeck, Conor McPherson, Sarah DeLappe, Ayad Akhtar, Will Arbery and George F. Walker.

When not acting, Justino loves playing Dungeons & Dragons, sketching, the study of sword-fighting (both on and offstage), and his beloved soccer team, Manchester United.
